Children’s Face Masks

children’s Face Masks

With two young children, I wanted to engage them with my work and Covid-19 in an appropriate way so that they could better understand.

So with a bit of their imput I’ve designed these Ducky & Piggy Masks to make a friendly and cute alternative to a standard face mask for children.

Official Guidelines: Cotton Masks are only recommended for children 2 years old upwards. Face Masks should not be worn by those who may find it difficult to manage them correctly, for example, primary age children unassisted, or those with respiratory conditions.

Every Organic Cotton Face Mask is handmade to order which is why there is a lead time (more details below).

The Organic Cotton is sourced from three independent Cotton Farms in the EU to ensure that workers are paid fairly and work in a safe and ethical environment. The Cotton is then Woven in the UK.

  • Made using 2 Layers Organic Fine Weave Cotton Fabric to provide filter for every breath and limiting air from forcing the snug seal around the sides.

  • All seams are double sewn using 100% cotton thread to provide stability and durability.

  • Soft Foam Wires are sewn to provide a comfortable and moulded fit around the nose.

  • Soft 5mm Flat Woven Elastic Ear Straps are Double Sewn to provide secure fitting and ease of removal of the mask.

  • Handmade in Liverpool UK

  • Care: Machine or Hand-wash with water and detergent. It is not necessary to use a hot wash as the chemical cleaning process with detergent will break down all virus in the same way as hand-washing with soap. Please do not tumble dry.

  • UK Postage & Packaging is included in the price of this order to make every purchase as easy as possible for you. You can also opt to collect. International Postage will be calculated once order is placed.

  • Current Lead Time: Every Order is made from scratch, which means that the lead times are around 7 working days to process each order.

*My products are made to order as this helps decrease the impact it has on the planet. My fabrics are printed in Kent in the UK, which lowers the CO2 emissions, as the distance the fabrics have to travel is considerably lower than with commercial worldwide production. Everything is made on demand, in-house so you know who is making them for you. Because I make on demand, there is minimal waste as I use just what is needed to produce each mask.
